Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I play?
- Tap a ball to select it, then tap an empty cell to move it. Line up 5 or more same-colored balls in any direction to clear them and score points. After each move, new balls appear on the board.
- What are the game modes?
- Score Attack — score as high as possible before the board fills up. Full Clear — activate every cell on the grid by clearing balls on it.
- How do I reset my progress?
- Go to the Settings tab and tap "Reset All Data." This will clear all scores, achievements, and settings.
- Does the app require an internet connection?
- No. Clear Lines is fully offline. All game data is stored locally on your device.
- Which devices are supported?
- Clear Lines runs on iPhones and iPads running iOS 16 or later, and Android devices running Android 8.0 or later.
- Can I save my game and continue later?
- Yes. When you quit a game in progress, it is automatically saved. Tap "Continue" on the Play screen to resume where you left off.
- How do I change my player name or avatar?
- Go to the Profile tab to update your name and choose from 40 emoji avatars.
